Essex resident cablecasts a new series, “Miracles: A Spiritual Journey from Despair to Hope,” on Cape Ann TV Channel 12

Essex resident Jorgelina “Jayzee” Zeoli is now cablecasting a new series on Cape Ann TV Channel 12 called,” “Spiritual Journeys from Despair to Hope,” sharing inspirational stories about survivors of military violence and childhood trauma. Zeoli, who is an inspirational author, speaker and group facilitator, has published a series of books and produced two films about her healing journey through self-awareness, spirituality, music and art. Her new series incorporates excerpts of her two films and discussions with holistic practitioners, trauma survivors and members of various faiths. Her intention in producing the series is to offer options to create a bridge from the feelings of despair to hope, including learning to manage the despair created by post-traumatic stress disorder. The shows aim at looking more in depth into the emotions involved in the persons who have suffered through these difficulties and to those offer comfort and support to victims. Jayzee explains that the purpose of her work is to “contribute to creating a society of compassion, peace and truth.”

“Miracles, Part I,” includes excerpts of Jayzee’s film “Over the Mass Grave: God Among Us,” based on her flashbacks of military violence in 1970s Argentina and her healing journey. The program includes a discussion on several spiritual topics. The series begins on Monday, June 11 on Channel 12 at 6 p.m., Friday, June 15 at 10 p.m. and Saturday, June 16 at 5:30 p.m.
