Santa Party was a hit! Dozens of children share their Christmas wishes!

It was big day for a lot of Cape Ann children when Santa made a special stop at Cape Ann TV yesterday from 3-7 p.m. and heard the wishes of dozens of children. The children were all dressed up in their holiday best waiting to meet Santa. While they were waiting, some of the children worked on some wonderful  arts and crafts projects such as making beautiful holiday ornaments to hang on their Christmas tree while others were treated to cookies and refreshments. Santa was happy to visit with the children but had then had to speed on his way to meet other children in time for Christmas! With a jolly, “ho,ho,ho!”  he was on his way dashing out of Cape Ann to bring the children’s wish list back to the North Pole.

Stay tuned to Channel 12 for some special holiday programming!

One of the most wonderful things about the holidays is the special programs that we can watch to get into the spirit of the season. Check our local programming guide for our special holiday programs coming up in the next few weeks. Some of the programs – taped right here at our Cape Ann Television studio – include the Annual Santa Party featuring kiddies from all over Cape Ann meeting the one and only Santa and telling him all of their wishes!

We will also show some wonderful musical performances including special Christmas shows including the Local Music Scene’s Christmas specials featuring musical performances by Allen Estes singing, “I’ll be Home for Christmas” and “I Wish I Could Fly,” and other talented local performers and musicians including Courtney Reid performing “What Child is This,” Chelsea Berry with Bradley Royds in a terrific duet: “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” Dan King and Ann Marie, Daisy Nell and Captain Stan, Dylan performing, “Noel,” and a group performance of  “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” Happy holidays!
